Perhaps amongst the busiest shopping destinations in the world, Nanjing Road is located in the city center, running in a west-east direction. Its eastern section (pedestrian only) is in Huangpu District and extends from The Bund west to People’s Square. The western section begins at People’s Square and continues westwards towards Jing’an District past Jing’an temple.
The Pearl of the Orient Tower is a 468-meter-high communication tower, the second highest in Asia, and the fourth highest tower in the world. It is located in Shanghai's Pudong Park in the financial district of Lujiazui, on the edge of Pudong District, just across the Huangpu River from the Bund. The SWFC has been lauded for its design, and in 2008 it was named by architects as the year's best completed skyscraper. In 2013, the SWFC was exceeded in height by the adjacent Shanghai Tower which is China's tallest structure as of 2016. Together, the Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai Tower and Jin Mao Tower form the world's first adjacent grouping of three supertall skyscrapers. The Jin Mao Tower is the third tallest building in mainland China. It is located in the center of Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone in Pudong and it can be conveniently accessed from either Puxi (the area west of the Hungpu River) or the Hongqiao and Pudong International Airports which are just 30 minutes by car.
Qibao (simplified Chinese: 七宝镇; traditional Chinese: 七寶鎮; pinyin: Qībǎo Zhèn; literally means "Seven Treasures Town". Shanghainese: iQibao is a town in the Minhang District of Shanghai. Its formation can be traced back to the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, to the Northern Song Dynasty. The name comes from its local temple. Today, Qibao is a tourist attraction, in the area known as Qibao Old Town by the Puhui River with traditional Chinese architecture and a number of attractions, including museums and street food.
The museum of ancient Chinese art is situated on the People's Square in the Huangpu District of Shanghai, China. Rebuilt at its current location in 1996, it is considered one of China's first world-class modern museums. It features a collection of over 120,000 pieces, including bronze, ceramics, calligraphy, furniture, jades, ancient coins, paintings, seals, sculptures, minority art and foreign art. The Shanghai Museum houses several items of national importance, including one of three extant specimens of a "transparent" bronze mirror from the Han Dynasty.
